Carrier Agreement Terms

Unfortunately, many freight brokers require carriers to sign waivers that significantly limit their legal rights and protections. These waivers often place excessive liability on carriers, even for events beyond their control. Such unfair terms can put carriers in a vulnerable position, especially in the event of a dispute or legal action.

Owner Operator Direct Carrier Company takes a different approach. As a carrier-first company, we never require you to sign waivers that would compromise your legal rights. We believe that these laws are in place for a reason: to clearly establish responsibility and facilitate a swift resolution in case of litigation. By avoiding these types of waivers, we can streamline the legal process, reducing costs and ensuring a more efficient outcome for all parties involved.
